iMAP is the definitive system for productivity improvement in the assembly of turbine rotors for high volumes and heavy loads.
- Reduces inspection time by up to 90%
- Corrects centring errors of up to 2%
- User-friendly software
AccuScan is an extremely high-precision system and can reduce inspection time by up to 90%.
AccuScan XE200i is a portable Runout Inspection System developed to measure mechanical and electrical runout as well as other circular geometry on large gas turbine rotors. By delivering highly reliable measurement data, rotor stacking software can adjust components precisely, resulting in perfectly aligned rotor assemblies and a reduced risk of production errors.
The system measures up to 1,000 data points on two surfaces simultaneously per revolution and can handle an unlimited number of surfaces. The sub-micron precision enables AccuScan to serve as a process reference standard and drastically reduce inspection time, by as much as 90% compared with traditional methods.
AccuScan uses advanced algorithms to correct profile distortion caused by incorrect positioning. “Intelligent probing” compensates for off-centring of up to 2% of the component radius with minimal error margin, ensuring that even mispositioned components can be inspected correctly.
Fully intuitive Windows-based software enables operators to quickly inspect complex parts. Inspection templates can be generated directly on the machine, offline on any PC, or using a combination of both. Results can be recalculated dynamically and out-of-tolerance deviations are highlighted immediately, simplifying quality control.
Inspection data can easily be shared via PDF or CSV files or with the free viewer software, making analysis and reporting both smooth and efficient.
AccuScan XE200i combines high precision, flexibility and ease of use, offering a complete solution for fast and accurate inspection of circular components on large rotors.
Fast and easy
The simple and intuitive Windows software with full functionality makes it possible for any operator to quickly and easily inspect the type of complex parts normally associated with gas turbines.
Programming can be done offline, directly, or both.
Inspection templates can be generated on the machine with AccuScan™, independent of any PC anywhere in the world with AccuScan IFE™, or a combination of both.
Results are recalculated dynamically
Raw inspection data is collected and stored so that datum points, surface definitions and units of measurement can be changed at any time and the results recalculated dynamically.
Highlighting of out-of-tolerance deviations
Highlighting of out-of-tolerance deviations quickly identifies non-conforming parts for the operator.
Integrated help
By clicking the help button in the upper-right corner of any screen, the operator gets immediate access to the comprehensive user guide.
Internal probe calibration
Probe calibration is performed using the probe calibration wizard, accessed via the Tools menu. Calibration is a multi-step process, and instructions are displayed at each step.
