QuadMatic is an additional rotary axis for CMMs that is integrated directly into the machine’s granite table.
QuadMatic is an ultra-low-profile rotary table integrated directly into the coordinate measuring machine’s granite table. The recessed design means that almost the entire CMM measurement volume can be utilised, which is particularly important when inspecting large components where every millimetre of reach is crucial.
The rotary table is equipped with a backlash-free drive system that provides smooth and accurate rotation during measurement. With an angular accuracy of up to 2 arcseconds, QuadMatic is suitable for advanced metrology applications where high accuracy and repeatability are essential.
QuadMatic is available in sizes from Ø400 mm up to Ø1000 mm and handles loads up to 5,000 kg. The robust design and the extremely low height – only 1–2 mm above the granite surface – make the system ideal for integration into CMM systems where both high load capacity and maximum measurement volume are required.
