QuadDualPurpose

QuadDualPurpose is an additional rotary axis for coordinate measuring machines and meets the requirements of ISO 10360 Part 3.

Flexible inspection in multiple positions

QuadDualPurpose is a precision rotary axis developed for coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and makes it possible to inspect parts both horizontally and vertically. The flexibility makes the system particularly suitable for larger and complex parts, for example aircraft engine blades, where they may need to be measured from several directions.

Increased efficiency and productivity

By integrating QuadDualPurpose into your CMM, an additional rotary axis is added, making it possible to rotate the workpiece instead of moving it manually. This increases access to all measurement points and improves both productivity and efficiency in the measurement process. The system meets the requirements of ISO 10360-3 and is developed for high-precision metrology.

Stable design for large parts

QuadDualPurpose is available with table tops of Ø250 mm, Ø300 mm and Ø400 mm and handles loads up to 1,000 kg and load moments up to 500 Nm. The system can be equipped with a powerful pneumatic clamp for secure fixing of the workpiece and offers angular accuracy of up to 2 arcseconds, making it a stable and accurate solution for advanced CMM inspection.
