The VisionX software offers up to 80 tools for extraction analysis, including [Feature Extraction] (such as maximum points, centre lines, arcs, peaks, etc.), [accessory tools] (e.g. any point, line and circle, fitted straight line, fitted circle, tangent, inscribed circle, etc.), [smart marking], [form tolerance] and special tools [application tools] (e.g. pitch distance, pitch angle, grooves, threads, round intersection, downward angle, rounded corners, etc.).

The measurement results and their key statistical values (e.g. mean, σ, 3σ, 6σ, Ca, Cp, Cpk, etc.) are recorded and archived automatically. Operators can choose different filter criteria for extracting history.

The trend chart shows the overall trend of the measured values, such as monotonic and periodic changes in the measured values, which can be used to monitor deviations in the production process of manufacturing equipment. The histogram reflects the status and distribution of fluctuations in product quality and can intuitively display information about the quality situation in the production process, which can be used to predict product quality and defect rate.

Through quality diagnosis and analysis using statistical methods, SPC can monitor product quality and the trend of change in the production process. With SPC, we can find preventive solutions in the production process, so that subsequent inspections and repairs are reduced. Consequently, control of the production process and improvement of product quality are achieved.
